FAQs PIA has been designed to be as easy to use as possible.  However, not all aspects of property investment analysis are simple or straightforward.  Here you will find a list of some of the more frequently asked questions (and answers).
PIA Quick Start Guide This 45 pp Quick-Start Guide is designed to help first -time users get started with PIA. It assumes t hat you are acquainted with the basic concepts of your computer and the Windows user interface.  To ensure a smooth start, the book guides you through installing your
software, starting it, and entering your first set of data.
By the end of the book you will be able to use the spreadsheet to answer
simple questions like:
  • What return can I anticipate on my investment?
  • What will it cost me after tax?
  • How much tax will I save?
PIA User Guide This User Guide is a reference work. The structure is based on the software itself:

Demonstration versions You can download trial versions of any or all of the different version of PIA.  The trial versions demonstrate all of the features of the full program but, understandably, have some of the key variables locked.
Maintenance editions Maintenance editions are available for downloading from this site as required.  The update software is self-contained and will simply replace any earlier edition in the folder in which it installs. Maintenance editions are free of charge if your registration code was issued within two years of the release of the new edition.
